Q: What’s energy deregulation?
Legislation has made it possible for customers in select states to have choice with their energy provider. That choice means they are not required to stick with the default utility company. This legislation made it possible to create new competition by eliminating monopolies that utility companies previously had. This has given companies like Pioneer Energy the ability to enter the market to generate new electricity savings opportunities for customers.
